Motorola’s Moto E 4G variant could launch by May; expected price under Rs 10,000

Motorola launched the Moto E 3G model in New Delhi yesterday and in Mumbai today. The phone will go on sale at midnight (12th March) on Flipkart for Rs 6,999. Along with the 3G variant, Moto E also has a 4G variant.

Motorola is hopeful of bringing the 4G version of Moto E in May, pricing it under Rs 10,000 as it looks to compete with brands like Xiaomi and Yu.

The difference between the Motorola Moto E 3G and Moto E 4G lies in the fact that the former uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 SoC whereas the latter uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC. The Snapdragon 410 SoC houses a 1.2GHz quad-c0re Cortex A53 CPU along with Adreno 306 GPU.

Apart from this the Moto E 4G variant has pretty much the same features as the Moto E 3G variant. These include a 4.5-inch qHD display, 1GB RAM, 5MP rear camera and VGA front camera. The Moto E 4G will also run Android 5.0 Lollipop and will have a 2,390 mAh.
