Meizu Android 5.0 roadmap

Meizu has been building some kick-ass Android models with its flagship Meizu MX4 topping the list of high scorers on the AnTuTu Benchmark site for all of last year. The Meizu MX4 Pro takes the MX4 to a slightly higher level, specs wise. Owners of these handsets are curious about when they will receive the Android 5.0 update. We might have the answer.

A chart found on Chinese social media site Weibo reveals a roadmap allegedly showing when Meizu plans on sending Android 5.0 out to various models. The chart isn't the easiest thing in the world to understand, but we can come to some conclusions.

According to the roadmap, the Meizu MX4 Pro should be Lollipopped by the end of next month. That would match the time period when the update is expected to be sent to the Meizu MX4. The Meizu MX2 and Meizu MX3 should receive the update before the end of May. Android 5.0 should reach the Meizu MX sometime during this summer.
